CSSC Squash - Final Call for the Team Championships
CSSC Squash - Last Call for Entries into the Team Championships & Summary of Recent Events
Calling All Squash Players!
With new years resolutions to play more squash now fully underway, meaning everyone should now be entering a peak performance zone, there is still time to enter the CSSC National Team Squash Championships. The event is being held next Friday and Saturday (25/26 of February) at the Nottingham Squash and Rackets Club. The closing date for entries is this Friday (19th) so do get your entries in if you fancy competing!
The event is always both social and competitive and we encourage all players and teams to enter where possible! Note, funding for travel and accommodation might be available from your CSSC region!
Further detals and entry forms can be found on the CSSC website here: https://www.cssc.co.uk/events/54975444/national-open-squash-team-championships-2022
Return to Squash and Civil Service Events
With covid no longer preventing all of us from being on the squash courts, the Civil Service calendar of events is now rolling back into action, with two events held over the last few months. Over the coming months, there will be more events this year, including the National Masters and Racketbal events in May. Please see the website for details.
- Our National Men’s team competed at the Crown Services Quadrangular tournament in September, but unfortunately couldn’t claim the titles that year, coming a close second to the UK Armed Forces. Full details will be on the website shortly.
- James Hodson was once again crowned the Men's Civil Service Squash Championship at the Annual CSSC Singles Championship in November. Full details will be on the website shortly.
If anyone would not like to receive these updates, please do reply to this email and we will remove you from the distribution list.
All the best - CSSC Squash Committee
